Making an impact

Building a sense of culture and community is an essential objective of the AbbVie PRIDE ERG. We offer visible support, engaging in celebrations and organizing community activities. This includes our viral “Love is Love” T-shirt campaign, which gives everyone throughout AbbVie the opportunity to provide visible, instantly recognizable support for PRIDE and all it represents.

We strive to cultivate and promote AbbVie’s commitment to LGBTQ+ career development:

  • We offer AbbVie PRIDE members the opportunity to partake in internal and external programs that focus on being an inclusive leader by promoting diversity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace
  • We host workplace events for LGBTQ+ people across the company to “meet and greet” and to establish relationships that could result in future career opportunities
  • Our team, along with our partners in HR and Talent Acquisition, collaborate with local colleges and universities to demonstrate our commitment to recruiting and developing a pipeline of LGBTQ+ talent

Community impact

When it comes to connecting with the external community, AbbVie PRIDE shines in effort and creativity.

  • We support local LGBTQIA+ organizations within our communities, coast to coast. AbbVie employees are volunteering their time or contributions to support vital organizations. 
  • And AbbVie’s Giving & Matching Program stretches our generosity even further. PRIDE is proud to support organizations through the AbbVie Foundation ERG community grant program.
